NY Resolutions:Love what you see

This year I think I will do a little something different. Instead of nixing the resolutions all together I think Im going to redirect the focus of mine to ME and I encourage EVERYONE to do the same. Investing in yourself is a primary stepping stone to success ( I heard that somewhere). When you are happy and taken care of you are in a position to give love and help to others around you. If you are feeling deficient, longing and yearning for things that you think you can get from outside sources you'll never be in a position to help anyone else. The most authentic way to nurture and give love is to start from within. This is what it means to love what you see.

loving what you see: being kind to strangers

I have decided to take part in the one million acts of kindness campaign. However, I think I underestimated how active I have to be to achieve my goals in helping to spread kindness and love. My progress so far has been quite slow as mind has been preoccupied with the burdens of trying to be an adult a be responsible. However, today I received and awesome blessing that brought my recent declaration back to my attention. I was in such a good mood that I gave my last five dollars to a stranger on the train who said he needed something to eat. Being kind to others is the best way to improve your life. The reason for being kind to strangers is just as important to being kind to yourself and your loved ones. It epitomizes the concept of loving what you see. When you help, talk to or even smile at a stranger you acknowledge your connection to the world around you. That is why it is important to respect animals and the environment and money. You have form relationships with everyone and everything, loving relationships. LOVE= STRENGTH . Be strong enough to love your brother, even if he is a stranger.

Do what you love!

Nothing makes me happier or more excited than searching through racks and piles of moth ball scented goods for hidden treasures. I live in the thrift stores and the flea markets, I dream about rummaging through yard sales and finding curbside freebies to recover these discarded articles , and make them new and beautiful again. To me there is nothing more satisfying; not a degree , not the thought of making a ton of money, not a hot car, not even a hot guy! Well there is one thing, putting my creations to use! The finished product is always a masterpiece. Its my art and it is loads of fun!
They say the one thing in this world that you would do for free is the thing that you were born to do. Doing what you love versus what earns you the most money, prestige or power makes a phenomenal difference in a person quality of life. It is the between being successful and being completely satisfied and sublimely happy. It unleashes the most powerful part of you that you may have never known existed. It conjures and warm glow that is both attractive and contagious. It is by far the best medicine. It is truly freeing and it is something that I highly recommend. Do what you love. Love what you see. Muuahhh! ~ Ade
